The Lagos State Government has donated 30 power bikes funded by Lagos State Lotteries Board to security agencies operating in the State.
The primary objective of the Lagos State Lotteries Board remains regulating, protecting and promoting the gaming industry in Lagos State. Our duty as regulators is to sanitize and maintain the stability of the Lagos State gaming industry; this includes licensing suitable persons and continuous monitoring of the sector to ensure responsible gaming and sustainable growth in the industry.
The administration of His Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode focus remains securing lives, preventing crimes and ensuring residents safety, enhancing security, infrastructure, power and a streamlined investment process to make Lagos the preferred investment destination in Africa.
Lagos State Lotteries Board will continue to give special attention to enlightening Lagosians and stakeholders on the tremendous contributions and impact of the gaming sector in the State. Fundamental matters such as responsible gaming and stakeholders’ protection will be continuously highlighted.
LSLB remains the sole government agency responsible for regulating games of chance in Lagos State. Any organization interested in conducting gaming activities such as public online lottery, sports betting, scratch card & interactive games, casino, gaming machine, pools betting, promotional competitions, charitable lotteries etc within Lagos State, must apply to LSLB for an operating license prior to commencement of operations.
The public is enjoined to cooperate with the Agency to achieve the desired objective and vision for the industry by liaising with LSLB on all matters affecting the gaming industry in Lagos State.
